RSS Feeds

When one is looking to streamline communication, the RSS (Really Simple Syndication) feed is a way to do so without you having to perform extra effort if necessary.  There are a number of stories on a particular subject that are available to the reader.  You merely enter the subject.

There are a number of advantages that RSS feeds offer.  If you are simply looking to add a feed on a particular subject, doing so will mean that you no longer need to continually do research and stories.  The feed will do this for you automatically thus saving you time that is your goal.

For individuals who produce content regularly, you can benefit in a number of ways.   The first one is exposure.  There are a good number of websites and directories that can pick up on the information, thus leading to greater exposure.  The exposure can lead to new visitors to your website.  Additionally, RSS feeds can lead to back linking.  If you’re not familiar with this process, it is websites that link to your own website.  Both will lead to higher search engine rankings.

The individual reader is also given the ability to curate information in a way that is not overloading to them as well.  They are able to quickly scan and read further if they choose to to so.

What types of material can be added for an RSS feed? There are feeds available for anything that you can think of.  They are easy to categorize by topic.  There found on major news websites.  You can do an internet search and find one as well.

To add an RSS feed, I’d simply suggest you search for a particular subject with “RSS” on your favorite search engine.  You should see the  and click it.  The web address should display what it is.  Copy and paste and you are now done.  The result is one of the simplest ways to save time for you and for your readers.
