Google Pixel, Galaxy S7, iPhone 7 Comparison

This is going to be just a quick down and dirty comparison between the Google Pixel, Galaxy S7, and the iPhone 7. Looking first at the physical characteristics the iPhone 7 is the lightest in terms of weight the heaviest is going to be the Galaxy S7. When it comes to the display, the iPhone is going to have the lowest in terms of pixels per inch (PPI).  The clear winner is the Galaxy S7 with 576 PPI. The Google Pixel is in the middle with 423 PPI.

RAM is what makes the phone “go.”  The Google Pixel and the Galaxy S7 both have 4 GB. The iPhone 7 only has 2 GB. Next the iPhone 7 has three different storage sizes. 32 GB, 128 GB, and 256 GB. The Google Pixel has 32 GB, 128 GB plus a micro SD storage slot. The Galaxy S7 comes with 32 GB, 64 GB, and space for a micro SD like the Google Pixel. The consideration here is going to be depending upon what you value for space. Do you value the ability to expand upon your storage? If you do either the Google Pixel or the Galaxy S7 Will be sufficient for you. If you know what you want ahead of time and do not mind possibly managing storage, the iPhone 7 may be for you.

The battery sizes where the phones differ greatly. The Galaxy S7 comes with a 3000 mAh battery, Google Pixel is in second with 2770 mAh, with the iPhone 7 in last place with 1960 mAH.  When it comes to water resistance, mobile devices overall have come a long way from when they were first introduced. That being said the Google Pixel only has IP 53 rating. The iPhone 7 is in second place within IP 67 rating with the Galaxy S7 coming in first place within IP 68 rating.

Camera capability is pretty even for the rear camera. The Galaxy S7 and the iPhone 7 both have a 12 MP rear camera. The Google Pixel has a 12.3 MP camera. The front camera again is one where there's not much difference. The Galaxy S7 is in last place five MP. The iPhone 7 has a 7 MP camera and the Google Pixel has an 8 MP camera.

The carrier you select as a carrier may have some bearing on what phone is for you. All of the phones are Verizon compatible. The iPhone 7 has an additional options of AT&T, Sprint, and T-Mobile. The Galaxy S7 has US cellular and MetroPCS in this skill is been listed. The Google Pixel is offering a phone not tied to a specific carrier.

Your smartphone may be used to stream video as well. The Galaxy S7 pairs with the Samsung Smart TV. The airplane mirroring is used for the iPhone. All three phones come with a digital assistant certain buttons on your device in the Galaxy S7 has the greatest amount. Apple has created a bit of a stir by getting rid of the headphone jack recently. They rely strictly on the lightning port now to connect if you wish to still have the headphone import the Galaxy S7 or the Google Pixel is for you. When it comes to a differentiator the Google Pixel has unlimited photo and video files.  Galaxy S7 7 has a tactic button.  it’s tough to find something special for the iPhone 7 since it doesn’t come with pre bundled apps.

Lastly, is the bottom line.  Pricing is cheapest for the Google Pixel and iPhone 7 at 32 GB storage.    They have the same price for their respective 128 GB models.  The iPhone 7 then has a third storage tier of 256 GB for $849.

Hello! I'm Sean and I just wanted to reach out and say hey and give you a little bit of my backstory. I am a former teacher that taught at a suburban/rural school in the field of alternative education for four years. I am no longer teaching but I do have an interest in technology since two of my three kids are now in school.

The one thing that I have always loved was technology and how it has transformed life.  From my first job in agriculture to know having a smart phone in my pocket, apps makes life easier on a daily basis.

This is what leads me to helping you out.  I love the capability that apps have.  I’ve made apps and would like to help you out now.  The one barrier for many to app development is the process itself.  You typically would:

  1. Find a developer.
  2. Submit design/capability requirements.
  3. Wait until they deliver.
  4. Make adjustments as necessary
  5. Wait for delivery and upload for the world to have.

I want to do something different.  I give you the tools necessary to build an app.  The skills necessary?  If you can cut and paste, you can design the app and its functions.  Additionally as you build, you will see what it will look like.  The result is an app that performs EXACTLY as you intend the first time every time.

So the question becomes, what will you do with a tool like this?  My suggestion, create an app building business.  When you join, we have a lot of value to help you get started.  Along with our app building software platform, we offer information that will give you all the skills you need whether it be finding clients, building websites, to various pricing strategies.  Create as many apps each month as you to grow you app business as big as you decide.
